The Promise Withheld 2520 Years

You may be wondering, if America and Britain are the birthright nations, why did it take so long for us to inherit the promises of the fathers. This is another very interesting story. In this prophecy God reaffirmed the promises.and told them if they would keep his Sabbaths and his commandments that he would give them the promises of the fathers in their lifetime. But they could not do so as'you will see. This prophecy begins in the wilderness with Moses.
Leviticus 26:1-9; "Ye shall make you no idols nor graven images, neither rear ye up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land to bow down unto it: For I am the Lord your God. Ye shall keep my Sabbaths , and reverence my sanctuary, I am the Lord, If ye walk in my statues, and keep my commandments and do them: Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yeild her increase, and the trees of the field shall yeild their fruit... For I will have respect unto you and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
In verses 14-17 you see what God says to them if they do not keep his sabbaths and his commandments.
" But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; and if you shall despise my statues, or if your soul abhor my judgements, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant. I also' will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption and the burning ague that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart, and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

And I will set my face against you and ye shall be slain before your enemies, They that hate you shall reign over you, and ye shall flee when none persueth you."
In Exodus 19:6; "if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: For all the earth is mine. And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priest, and an Holy nation. These are the words thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel."
In Exodus 19:8 we see the peoples reply; " ... And all the people answered with one voice, and said, all the words which the Lord hath spoken we will do." And again in Exodus 24:3.
This became the old covenant; an agreement between God and his chosen people to live by his laws. Binded in blood as you see in Exodus 24:5-8; "And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord. And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the alter. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, all that the Lord hath said, we will do, and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words."
This old covenant married the mortal humans to God. They became his nation and they agreed to obey. But as other humans their vanity, envy, lust and greed got the best of them and they began to sin. SO now Jesus is coming in the near future to be the mediator of the new covenant, based on better promises as you can see in Hebrews 6-11..........

" But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which' was established upon better promises. For if that the first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, behold, The days come saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt: because they continued not im my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the House of Israel after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people."

This covenant based on better promises will not be made with human mortals but will be made with immortal beings as they are ressurrected or when Jesus returns. These immortal beings will be married to Christ as we saw in the earlier chapters.
The old covenant was based on material wealth as the promises were that were given to the House of Israel, and the new covenant is based on the sceptre part of the promise given to the House of Judah.
Now Moses went up the mountain to talk with God and was gone 40 days. Notice what the people did, starting in Exodus 32:1-4, " And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, up, make us Gods, which shall go before us; for as for Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives,of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at his hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, these be thy Gods, 0 Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt." As you can see they made themselves idols to worship.
In verse 5 we see, " And when Aaron saw it, he built an alter before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord."
When the Israelites made themselves these idols, they new these earrings fashioned into a golden calf was not the actual God that brought them out of Egypt, rather they thought this to be what God looked like. So they burnt offerings and worshipped the Lord before these idols. This made the Lord angry because this is the same way that the ancient Pagans worshipped their gods. Just like in todays churchs; the catholic church has the statue of Mary, the baptist has the cross, and others have a picture of what they suppose Christ looked like, all these are sitting before their alters. Everyone will say, we are not worshipping these figures (idols), it's just what we suppose Jesus to look like. Although What does God say about this; Exodus32:7-10; "And the Lord said unto Moses, Go get thee down, for thou people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, hath corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: They have made them an molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, these be thy Gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff necked people: Now therfore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them; And I will make of thee a great nation." *** Deuteronomyl 2:30-32, " Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods ? even so will I do likewise. THOU SHALT NOT DO SO UNTO THE LORD THY GOD; for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. WHAT THING SOEVER I COMMAND YOU, OBSERVE TO DO IT: THOU SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT."
As you see you should not add to God's law or take away from it ! Don't dress it up or dress it down, Just do it. No but... No excuses. We'll discuss these worldly churchs in great detail later. If your willing to except the truth here it is.
In the-second year after leaving Egypt, God moved their camp to Paran as you can see in Numbers 10:11-12. God told Moses to send 12 men to the promise land and bring back a report; Numbers 13:1-2. These men were gone 40 days and brought back a false report, except Joshua and Caleb. Have you ever wondered why the people with Moses wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, when 1 2 men went to the promise land and walked all over it and returned in 40 days ? The people lacked faith to go and possess the land. Just as we fail to excersise the faith and except Gods kingdom, we'd rather rebel, disbelieve and disobey and except the slavery of sin; so did they.
After this false report, God said to them, Numbers 14:29-31, " Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness, and all that are numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me. Doubtless ye shall not come into the lan*d, concerning which I swear to make you dwell therein, save Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun. But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised."
These next verses have a very important meaning, verses 33-
34X " And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years and bear our whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of days in which ye searched the land, even 40 days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even 40 years, and ye shall know my breach of promise." As you see the Lord withholds the promise from them for 40 years. If you'll also notice the day for a year rule.
They entered the promise land under the leadership of Joshua. During Joshua's life they prospered and served God. Soon after Joshua's death they began to sin again as you see in Judges 2:8-15, "And Joshua...died...and all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after him which new not the Lord...and the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim."
God continued to give them chance after chance to change their ways. For God is a merciful God. Let's continue this part -of history in Judges 2:16-17, "Nevertheless the Lord raised up judges which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them..but they went a whoring after other Gods, and bowed themselves unto them." This happened repeatedly, every time they were in trouble they ran to God, then when they were doing good, they would forget him once again. Much like many of us today.
Up until this time God was sitting on the throne reigning over them. We spoke of this earlier in a previous chapter. Now let's go back to Leviticu 26:18, now that you know their history. " And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins."
This is another'verse that has been"overlooked for centuries. The expression seven: times, was translated into English language from the original Hebrew word " shibah ". The word shibah has a dual meaning,: like the word second in" the English JLangua5e. "Shibah", is defined in the Hebrew language as sevenfold and also seven times. The seven times implies duration or continuation, and the sevenfold implies intensity, as it is ment in Daniel 3:19, when Nebuchadnezzar, in a rage commanded that the furnace be made seven times hotter.
Now let me explain the seven times or seven prophetic times. A " time " is a prophetic 360 day year, all Bible Commentaries and Bible Dictionaries will tell you this. In Moses' day they went by God's calender, where each month started with the new moon. This can be derived from Genesis 7:11 and Genesis 8:3-4, when the ark rested. Notice the flood started on the 17th day of the second month. At the end of 150 days the ark rested, on the 17th day of the 7th month. That was 5 months, and it was also 150 days, showing us that 5 months was 530 days.
It is evedent that by it's manner and wording in the sentence and the fact of actual fulfillment that Leviticus 26:18 is referring to a duration of seven prophetic times. Knowing this we can calculate the actual time of punishment as, 7x 360 days = 2520 days.
Now an important addition to this equation; Remember the day for a year principle of punishment given to the people with Moses in Numbers 14:33-34, of 40 years. With this in mind, and by using this application we have a duration of punishment of 2520 years. "Now notice what happened. God warned Israel continuously not to sin, and gave them chance after chance to change their ways. For 390 years God had patience and Israel continued sinning. Then God removed them out of his sight and initiated the seven times duration of punishment.
This 390 years of sin is pictured in Ezekiel 4:3-6,9. Notice also the year for a day principle is used again by God, but reversed as a day for a year. "This shall be a sign to the House of Israel, lie thy also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the House of Israel upon it: according to the number of days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquities. For I have laid upon the years of their iniquities of the House of Israel. And when thou hast accomplished them lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquities of the House of Judah forty days, I have appointed thee each day for a year... According to the number of days thou shalt lie upon thy side three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof."
Exactly 2520 years after God initiated the seven times of punishment, in 718bc, the U.S.A. and Great Britain were becoming the greatest, wealthiest nations of the world, the year 1802. Now they were inheriting the birthright'. And you can see how much we've grown since. And as you can see, there are no questions to who the birthright went to and why it took so many years.
Did you ever wonder why after Acts 15, you read no more about the 12 apostles ? Except for Peter who made a trip to Babylon. The rest of them were gone to the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. In Matthew 10:5-6 you can see where Jesus sends them to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them saying, go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans, enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the ,House of Israel." !!! This explains why the Hermans teach Jesus came to the U.S.A. and appeared to the Indians. As you can see they also lost the truth through time and mans own mortal minds. As one wise Indian once said, man was given the choice of following the spiritual path or the material path. He chose the material path and followed the cross instead of the true wisdom. You will understand this as we continue.
