| 4. Human birth is the precise
type of GOD birth. In the woman is an egg cell
called an ovum. It possesses potential life. Yet
unless fertilized by the human sperm cell from
the body of the father, it has a life span of
less than 28 days. The male sperm cell on
entering it endows it with the start of human
life. But to call it already a BORN human
compares to the deceived calling themselves
"born-again Christians." On conception
the ovum is called an embryo. It must grow
physically, fed through the mother. By four
months, when taking on human form, it is called a
fetus. It continues through a period of gestation
for nine months from conception to parturition,
when it is born.
The
first human, Adam, was created, as we might say
by analogy, a spiritual ovum. He had only a
temporary physicochemical existence. If
"fertilized" by the male divine sperm
of God (his Holy Spirit -- actually God-LIFE), he
would have been begotten, but not yet born as
God.
But GOD
is supreme perfect spiritual CHARACTER. Before
Adam could even qualify to be begotten into the
GOD family, he had to CHOOSE between the WAY of
God and the WAY of Satan who still sat on the
throne of the earth.
5. God placed Adam
and Eve after creation in the beautiful garden of
Eden. In its midst were two special symbolic
trees of tremendous significance. Adam did not
have immortal God life, but God freely offered it
to him through the tree of LIFE.
Adam
had to choose between the government of Satan
with its self-centered way of life, and the
government of GOD with its GOD-centered way of
life. Each way of life was the basic LAW of a
GOVERNMENT.
6. Jesus came,
almost 2,000 years ago, to announce the FUTURE
kingdom of God. He's coming this time to
ESTABLISH that kingdom.
7. Abraham was
willing to sacrifice his own son for God ....God
gives his only begotten son for our sins.
8. Dual Promises
to Abraham Few have realized it, --the one purely
material and national... inherited through
Abraham -Isaac - Jacob - Joseph - Ephraim &
Manasseh - The Great U.S.A. and Great Britain;
the other spiritual and individual... inherited
through Abraham - Isaac - Jacob - Judah.... The
spiritual promise of the Messiah, and of
salvation through him. You can read about this

Judah are two separate kingdoms (Nations)..... (2
Chronicles 11:1" "And when
Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of
the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and
fourscore thousand chosen men, which were
warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might
bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.".......
Jeremiah 3:8 "And I saw, when for all
the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed
adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill
of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah
feared not, but went and played the harlot
also".

| 9. Two Promise
lands ..... Better Covenant - The first Covenant
was that of the inheritance of the Promised
Land... The Material blessings of Abraham. The
second built on better promises... to inherit the
Kingdom of God....There was the first covenant
with Israel, material and national, devoid of
salvation, based upon the birthright promise; and
there is the NEW covenant, spiritual and
individual, with a spiritually begotten Israel,
based upon the scepter promise. |
| 10. There was the
physical congregation of Israel under the Old
Testament and the spiritual Church of God under
the New Testament. The word church as originally
written in the Greek of the New Testament was
ekklesia, which means called-out-ones. The same
word was used in the Old Testament for the word
Congregation. As Israel of the Old Testament was
the physical forerunner and type of the Church of
the New Testament so God now called out the
progenitor of the nation Israel from Satan's
world. |
| 11. Baptism's dual
purpose is to represent dying, being buried;
symbolized by the water and being resurrected to
sin no more |
| 12. John the Baptist
was a voice crying out in the physical wilderness
of the Jordan River area, preparing for the human
physical Jesus' First Coming to a material temple
at Jerusalem, to a physical Judah. But that was a
prototype, or forerunner of Herbert W. Armstrong
.......................... a voice "lifted
up" (greatly amplified by modern printing,
radio and TV), crying out in the midst of today's
spiritual "Wilderness of the people"
(Ezek 20:35) of religious confusion, announcing
the immanency of Christ's Second Coming as the
spiritually GLORIFIED Christ, to his spiritual
temple (the Church resurrected to spirit
immortality) (Eph. 2:21-22). (The Abomination
of Desolation has now been
set up and the Word again is being surpressed and
no one is hearing it today since 1996..........
Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come,
saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in
the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for
water, but of hearing the words of the
LORD:)" It is revealed
in Malachi 3:1-5 and 4:5-6 that God would raise
up one in the power and spirit of Elijah, shortly
prior to the Second Coming of Christ. In Matthew
17:11 Jesus said, even after John the Baptist had
completed his mission, that this prophesied
Elijah "truly shall first come, and restore
all things." Although it is plainly revealed
that John the Baptist had come in the power and
spirit of Elijah, he did not
restore anything. The human leader to be raised
up somewhat shortly prior to Christ's Second
Coming was to prepare the way--prepare the
Church--for Christ's coming, and restore the
truth that had been lost through the preceding
eras of the Church. Also a door was to be opened
for this leader and/or the Philadelphia era of
the Church to fulfill Matthew 24:14: "And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in
all the world for a witness unto all nations; and
then shall the end come

| 13. Duality found
in Revelations chapter 2&3 with the writings
to the Churches.... These different Churches are
actually eras of time. Check out The History of
the True Church Of the
Philadelphia era (Rev.3:7) of God's true Church
(H.W.A.'s era) we read: "To the angel of the
church...." This word angel translated from
the Greek "aggelos" means messenger or
agent. This is not referring to a spirit angel
but to a human agent. It applies to the human
messenger or agent God has raised up to lead this
era of his Church. Rev.3: 8: "I know thy
works: behold, I have set
before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast
a little strength, and hast kept my word, and
hast not denied my name." ........ It is
recorded in II Corinthians 2:12 and also Acts
14:27 how Christ opened the door for Paul to go
into other countries to preach the gospel. Just

history. Though much of
the original gospel truth, imparted to the
original apostles by Jesus in person, had been
lost, it was restored through the Bible to this
era of God's Church who were faithful in keeping
it by Herbert W. Armstrong.

| 14. The Abomination
of Desolation(s) - In 167BC Antiochus took over
Jerusalem and the Temple (Dan. 8:9-12). He
stopped the daily sacrifices, burned copies of
the Hebrew Bible and forced pagan religion on the
Jews. On December 25, 167BC Antiochus
entered into the Holy of Holies in God's Temple
and took away the gold vessels and erected a
Greek altar on the site. The Duality here
happened in our generation with God's Temple.
Daniel spoke of this (Dan. 12:11-12). Then Jesus
speaks also of this Abomination in a future tense
in Mark 13:14 and Matthew 24:15. And you can read

| 15. This
tribulation did actually occur, in the typical
forerunner sense, to the nation Judah, in 70 A.D.
But that was merely the early type, and
forerunner of the great NATIONAL invasion and
captivity YET to occur |
| 16. Captivity Egypt is a type
of sin. As God's people are today in
"Babylon," and soon are to be delivered
after God pours out His plagues upon Babylon, so
they once were in Egypt, an were delivered after
the pouring out of the plagues. Just as
professing Christians have been deceived and have
no knowledge of true time and God's days, as well
as the true worship of God, so it was with the
children of Israel in Egypt.

| 18. Duality runs all
through the Exodus from Egypt...... Egypt is a
metaphorical type of sin. God's people were held
captive in Egypt just As God's people are today
held captive by "Babylon,"
(False Religion) and soon are to
be delivered after God pours out His plagues upon
Babylon, so they once were in Egypt, an were
delivered after the pouring out of the plagues.
If Egypt is a type of sin, then surely Pharaoh
must picture Satan; the army of Egypt, Satan's
demons While Israel was in Egypt they
were Pharaoh's slaves, helpless and powerless
under his taskmasters--just as the sinner is in
the power of the devil. But when Israel took the
blood of the lamb, then God acted, and as a
result Pharaoh released Israel. When we accept
Christ's blood, GOD acts, and the devil must
release us. And, as the Israelites went out with
a high hand (Numbers 33:3), in great exultation
and elation over their deliverance from bondage,
so will we soon be rescued from this false
religion bondage of Babylon.
Notice
Exodus 14, beginning verse 10--as soon as the
Israelites saw Pharaoh's great army pursuing
them, they lost their courage. Fear came over
them. They began to grumble and complain. They
saw it was impossible for them to get away from
Pharaoh and his army, because he was too powerful
for them. And they were helpless. So it is with
us. Our Strength Not Sufficient! to get away from
or fight Satan. But notice the message of God to
them through Moses: "Fear ye not, stand
still, and see the salvation of the Eternal...for
the Egyptians...ye shall see them again no more
for ever. The Eternal shall fight for you"!
How wonderful! Helpless, we are told to stand
still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He
shall fight for us. We cannot conquer Satan and
sin, but He can. See the Duality?

19. The Sabbath
being dual of Creation the actual existence of
God and for a Sign of God’s People. It is a
memorial of creation. And creation is the proof
of the existence of God. Creation identifies God.
The Sabbath is a weekly memorial of creation. A
weekly reminder of God's power to create. And
it's the sign (Mark) of God's People. (Exodus
31:13) "Speak thou also unto the
children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye
shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you
throughout your generations; that ye may know
that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."

| 20. Dual meanings
of Holy Days...... Colossians 2:16
śLet no man therefore judge you in meat,
or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath
days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to
come; but the body is of Christ.
The Passover
On the tenth day of this first
month the Israelites were instructed to take a
lamb without blemish. They kept it until--not
after--the 14th day of the same first month. At
even, at dusk as the Jewish translation has
it--between the two evenings, or between sunset
and dark--the Passover lamb was killed. This was
in, not after, the 14th day. They shed the blood
of the lamb, sybolizing Christ's sacrifice to
come. It wasn't by coincident that Jesus was
actually Crucified on the exact day centuries
later. Just as the lamb.
Feast of unleaven Bread
Numbers 28:16-17. "IN the
fourteenth day [not AFTER IT]...is the passover
of the Lord. And in the fifteenth day [not before
it] of this month is the feast: seven days shall
unleavened bread be eaten."...... Exodus
12:17 "And ye shall observe the feast
of unleavened bread; for in this
selfsame day have I brought your armies out of
the land of Egypt: therefore
shall ye observe this day in your generations by
an ordinance for ever."
Exodus 12. Notice beginning
verse 14. "And this day shall be unto you
for a memorial;
To keep
us constantly in the memory of the great fact
that, having had our sins forgiven by Christ's
blood (pictured by the 14th) we are not to stop
there, and remain in sin, but to go out away from
sin! As they went away from Egypt. Seven days of
unleavened bread symbolizing and picturing
complete putting away of sin, or, in other words,
the keeping of the Commandments?
Exodus 13, verse 3: "And
Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in
which ye came out from Egypt." This was the
15th of Abib. Verses 6: "Seven days thou
shalt eat unleavened bread, and the seventh day
shall be a feast unto the Eternal...This is done
because of that which the Eternal did"--(a
MEMORIAL)--"and it
shall be for a sign"--that is, having also a
future meaning--"unto thee upon thine hand,
and for a memorial between thine eyes"--having to do
with both works and will--why?--"that the Lord's
law may be in thy mouth...Thou shalt therefore
keep this ordinance."
To observe the Passover alone,
and then fail to observe the seven days of
unleavened bread, means, in the symbolism, to
accept Christ's blood, and then to continue in
sin--to erroneously say the Law is done away,
that we are under grace alone, meaning license,
to continue in sin!
God's true Church is to have
these feast days, the first of which is a
memorial picturing deliverance from sin, in OUR
right hand and forehead, as God's sign, in order
that we shall keep His commandments. And since
the forehead is the seat of the intellect, and
symbolizes acceptance, and the right hand
symbolizes work, we have this sign of God there
by accepting this truth about the holy days and
Days of Unleavened Bread, and by NOT WORKING on
these holy days! Not only is the weekly Sabbath
God's sign (Ex. 31:12-17) but annual Sabbaths are
signs as well!
The children of Israel started
out of Egypt, the night of the 15th of Abib, as
we must, willingly, of our own accord, start out
of sin as soon as we accept the blood of Christ.
They started out on their own power--and we must
make the start ourselves. But they did not get
far until Pharaoh pursued after them (Ex.
14:5-7)... just as Satan does those converted.
Pentecost
The New Testament Church of God
was founded on a Sunday. It started on the annual
Sabbath day called "Pentecost" or
"Feast of Firstfruits." Also called the
"Feast of Weeks." Pentecost pictures
the first part of the spiritual harvest--the
calling out of the Church--the called-out
ones--which, for the New Testament dispensation,
began on Sunday--Pentecost, June 17, 31 A.D. On
that day the Holy Spirit came to dwell within
flesh, as prophesied by Joel...... It also
represents the 144,000 in Revelations.... merely
the Firstfruits of the great spiritual harvest!
The Wave Sheaf
The first sheaf of grain was cut
and brought to the priest. The priest solemnly
waved it before the Eternal to be accepted for
them. This pictures the resurrected Christ
ascending to heaven to be accepted by His Father
as the very first human to be actually born of
God--the firstfruit of the first harvest of
souls!
By comparing John 20:17 with
Matthew 28:9, you will see that Christ presented
Himself before the Father on the morning after
His resurrection the previous evening (I Cor.
15:20, 23; Rom. 8:29; Col. 1:15, 18). This
fulfillment of the wave-sheaf offering actually
occurred on Sunday, the morrow after the Sabbath
during the days of unleavened bread.
On the fiftieth day (Pentecost)
in Old Testament times, two "wave
loaves" (Lev. 23:17, 20) were brought out of
the habitations of the congregation as the
Firstfruits unto the Lord. Just so the New
Testament Church was gathered out of this world
as the Firstfruits of His salvation, in
fulfillment of the meaning of the wave loaves.
And just as the wave sheaf was
lifted up into the air and waved, symbolizing
Christ's trip to heaven and return, so the wave
loaves were lifted up and waved, symbolizing that
we too shall for a moment leave this solid earth
when we ascend to meet Him in the air (I Thess.
4:16-17) before we return with Him to stand on
the Mount of Olives as He begins His millennial
rule (Acts 1:11; Zech. 14:3-4).
God has not cast away His
people, Israel. But He blinded them for a
temporary period of time so that through their
fall, salvation came to the Gentiles, who,
through Christ, are individually grafted in, or
spiritually adopted into, the family of Israel
(Rom. 11). This is the dispensation when God is
calling a people for His name to be kings and
priests, reigning with Christ in the Kingdom
during the thousand years (Rev. 5:10).
Day of Atonement
To explain this it will take
great detail... There is duality and symbolism
running all through Leviticus chapter 16. To see

The slain goat represented the
crucified Jesus. The high priest, by taking the
blood of this slain goat into the veil to the
mercy seat in the Holy of Holies, a type of God's
throne, represented and did the work of the risen
Christ, who ascended to the right hand of the
Majesty on high, there interceding as our High
Priest.
The high priest going within the
veil, into the Holy of Holies, symbolized
Christ's return to heaven. The work he did while
in the Holy of Holies symbolized Christ's work
these 1900 years interceding for us, presenting
His shed blood before the mercy seat in heaven.
Feast of Tabernacles
This feast represents the
Israelites dwelling in tents when the escaped
from Egypt just as Humans will dwell outside the
Kingdom of God when he returns to this earth. To
